We LOVE taking photos of the stunning landscapes and unique places that we visit while traveling. And of course, we want to get the best photo possible but we don’t like carrying a huge camera with all types of lenses everywhere we go.
The best option for traveling, if you’re not a professional photographer, is to find the best quality small camera you can buy. Lots of people just use their smartphone cameras now, and there are some very good ones out there. But if you want to have better quality photos, you may want to take a look at these cameras recommended by professional photographers.

This is a small, compact mirrorless camera noted as one of the best mirrorless cameras you can buy. The small size makes it easy to take with you wherever you go. It has 16.1 MP, a 3-inch tilting touchscreen, and shoots 4K video. It also comes with art filters, perfect for making your photos Instagrammable. To learn more about this camera click here.
Canon EOS Rebel SL3/250D
This Canon model comes with a traditional DSLR viewfinder AND a rear 3-inch tilting touchscreen. It is much smaller than the traditional DSLR cameras though so it’s easy to throw into your bag and head out the door. It shoots with 24.1 MP so the quality of your photos will be a little higher than others at 16.1 It also shoots 4K video. Click this link to find out more about this Canon.
If you’re not as concerned about shooting video but love composing your still shots, this Nikon is a great choice, especially for beginners. It comes with an optical viewfinder and a 3-inch fixed rear screen. It shoots with 24.2 MP but the video is full HD rather than 4K. If that doesn’t bother you, this camera is a bargain over others with newer features that you may not care about. Check it out here.

The Panasonic has a 1-inch 20.1 MP sensor that allows more light into the camera. What this means for you is that it takes better, less grainy photos in lower light.
